Recognition of optical lenses

At present, through long experience analysis, optical lens manufacturers are divided into five kinds of optical lenses: anti reflective lenses, color lenses, color lenses, polarizing lenses and discoloration lenses.

1. Anti reflective lens

The lens is coated with a thin layer of magnesium fluoride to prevent strong light reflection, allowing you to see things more clearly without interference from strong light. To check whether your glasses really use anti reflective lenses, you can focus your glasses on the light source. If you see a purple green light, it means that the lens does have a protective film coated with antireflective.

2. Color lenses

Also known as the "staining lens", is to add some chemicals in the process of making lenses, so that lenses can be colored to absorb specific wavelengths of light. This is the most commonly used lens type of sunglasses.

3. Coloring lenses

This spectacle lens has the same effect as a color lens. It is only made in a different way. It is painted on the surface of the lens. The most familiar one is the "gradual coating lens", the color is the deepest, and then down. Most of the sunglasses with degrees are colored lenses.

4, polarizing lens

In order to filter the bright light in the equal direction of the sun on the surface, the land, or the snow, a special coating of vertical direction is added to the lens, which is called a polarizing lens. Most suitable for outdoor sports (such as sea activities, skiing or fishing).

5. Chameleon

It is also called "photoreceptor". Because in the lens added silver halide chemical substances, so that the original transparent and colorless lenses, when exposed to strong light, will become colored lenses, to do protection, so it is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
