Specification for inspection of optical lens appearance (Part I)

The optical lens manufacturers have a strict standard for the inspection of the lenses. The purpose is to ensure that the appearance of each optical lens can conform to the manufacturer's standard. Today, the manufacturers introduce the standard of the optical lenses.

Three, scar / bright spot (Scratch/Dig)

(1) the drawing should indicate the allowable standard for each ball to face the scar / highlights and the area required for this quality.

(2) the size of the scars / highlights is the maximum size allowed for these two defects. EX.60/40's appearance specification 60= allows maximum scar size 40= to allow maximum bright spot size.

(3) - Scratch: the linear appearance is bad and the level is defined as follows: 160scratch=0.051 mm width 120scratch=0.020 mm width 80scratch=0.016 mm width 60scratch=0.012 mm

Quality area: a specific area in which the light axis is one of the centers, the surface quality in the area is suitable for the size of the wound / bright spot. The surface outside this area is not required, except in particular, for the quality (general appearance inspection assumes that the global area is a quality area).

Four. Crack edges, cracks and scratches (Chips, Cracks&Bruises)

(1) the maximum allowable crack edge size is generally indicated on the drawings, but cracks and scratches are not usually indicated. Five, dirty or mildew (Stain)
